Yorkshire and Humber Active Partnerships working together

Youth in Community

Young people across the county are experiencing growing emotional wellbeing challenges. At the same time, trusted community spaces – from youth clubs, creative and arts groups, music and performance spaces, to sports, activity and informal youth settings – continue to offer places of belonging, connection and support outside of statutory services.

This work will explore how youth work‑led, relational approaches across creative, cultural, physical and community spaces can come together in a more connected way, strengthening prevention, early help and safe spaces where young people already choose to spend time.
